The bipartisan <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:italic\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Postal Service Reform Act of 2021<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\"> would, among other things:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Eliminate the burdensome federal pre-funding requirement for USPS retiree health care, finally putting USPS on a firm financial footing and ensuring that it can continue to serve Americans in the future;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Permanently require USPS to maintain its current standard of delivering at least six days per week;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Integrate retiree healthcare with Medicare, allowing the Postal Service to fully coordinate with Medicare (as most large businesses do), reduce costs, and receive a return on its investment since all employees pay into Medicare;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Require the Postal Service to establish performance targets based on its service standards and publish weekly service performance data on its website;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" style=\"list-style-type:disc\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Authorize the Postal Service to enter into agreements with state, local, and tribal governments to provide non-postal services that provide enhanced value to the public.
