L\u00f3pez as her office\u2019s new State Director based in Las Vegas. Most recently, L\u00f3pez was a Senior Public Relations Account Executive at the Nevada-based advertising and marketing agency R&amp;R Partners. Nelson Araujo, who held the role of State Director in Senator Rosen\u2019s office since January 2019, is departing this week after ensuring a smooth transition.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height:1.38\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">L\u00f3pez has lived in Las Vegas for 25 years and has extensive experience in Nevada politics and government, having previously worked as Public Information Officer for the Nevada Attorney General\u2019s Office under now-Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Nevada Deputy Press Secretary for former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. She has also worked in various Nevada-based roles for the presidential campaign of then-Senator Barack Obama and Organizing for America.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height:1.38\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">In addition, L\u00f3pez has been actively involved in the community as a former member of the Nevada Commission for Women, the Public Education Foundation, and Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada and as chair of the R&amp;R Partners Foundation Employee Board.
