This bipartisan law will invest $52 billion in domestic semiconductor manufacturing to help address the current computer chip shortage that has worsened supply chain issues and increased costs for Americans. This historic bipartisan legislation would boost domestic computer chip production, reduce the United States\u2019 reliance on other nations like China, enhance U.S. innovation and research capacity, invest in the next generation STEM workforce, and create thousands of good-paying domestic manufacturing jobs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis new bipartisan law will help bring manufacturing back to the United States, and it will take important steps to address the computer chip shortage we\u2019ve experienced, which has impacted nearly every industry and increased costs for Nevadans,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cThroughout this process, I\u2019m proud to have worked with colleagues to help shape and pass this legislation.
