Connecticut<\/em>. Companion legislation was introduced in the House of Representatives and passed last week with a bipartisan vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cAt a time when anti-choice politicians around the country are restricting women\u2019s ability to access the reproductive care they need, we have to protect the right to contraception,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThis is about protecting women\u2019s fundamental right to control their own bodies, and we need to urgently pass this critical legislation.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The introduction follows Justice Clarence Thomas\u2019 concurring opinion in&nbsp;<em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization&nbsp;<\/em>in which he urged the Supreme Court to reconsider its 1965&nbsp;<em>Griswold&nbsp;<\/em>decision.
