Wade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em><strong>This Is The First Anniversary Since The U.S. Supreme Court Overturned Landmark Decision<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WASHINGTON DC <\/strong>\u2013 Today, U.S. Senator Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement ahead of the 50th anniversary of <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, the first anniversary since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned this landmark decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFifty years after the Supreme Court ruled that women had the constitutional right to make decisions over their own bodies, we are now unfortunately back to the era before <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> when women\u2019s health care choices were allowed to be dictated by politicians,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/strong>\u201cWe have seen a surge of anti-choice states passing strict abortion bans without exceptions for rape, incest, or instances when the health or life of the mother is at risk. On this 50th anniversary of the decision in <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, I am committed to fighting back against any efforts to enact a nationwide abortion ban and will never stop working to restore and protect women\u2019s reproductive rights across our nation.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a leader in fighting attacks on reproductive rights. When the Supreme Court overturned <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/06\/24\/rosen-statement-on-supreme-court-decision-to-overturn-roe-v-wade-end-federal-protection-for-reproductive-rights\/\">issued a statement<\/a> calling for restoring and protecting reproductive rights.
