This bipartisan legislation would also ensure that no member of Congress continues to receive a paycheck while millions of Americans cannot during a shutdown.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo member of Congress should receive a paycheck if we fail to do the basic work of passing a budget and funding the government,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/strong>\u201cThis bipartisan legislation will hold lawmakers accountable, promote more fiscal responsibility in Washington, and help fix inaction and dysfunction in Congress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has supported a number of efforts to promote fiscal responsibility in Congress. Senator Rosen\u2019s bipartisan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2021\/12\/09\/rosen-scott-celebrate-senate-passage-of-bipartisan-legislation-to-ban-pensions-for-corrupt-members-of-congress-save-taxpayer-money\/\"><em>No Congressionally-Obligated Recurring Revenue Used as Pensions To Incarcerated Officials Now (No CORRUPTION) Act<\/em><\/a>, which passed the Senate last Congress, would bar former Members of Congress who are convicted of bribery or other crimes related to their official duties from collecting their taxpayer-funded pensions.
