By empowering women and minority entrepreneurs, we can further diversify our local economy, building stronger communities along the way. I\u2019ll continue to be supportive of smart, pro-growth policies that specifically help women and minority-owned businesses receive incentives, access to capital, and other important resources that will help their businesses succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>BACKGROUND:<\/strong><\/u> Last Congress, then-Congresswoman Rosen was one of a small group of Democrats to receive the U.S. Chamber\u2019s Spirit of Enterprise Award for her support for pro-growth policies in the first session of the 115th Congress. Rosen was one of only 13 Democrats in Congress to receive the award this year.
