The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/02\/08\/rosen-helps-reintroduce-bipartisan-end-fentanyl-act\/\"><em>Eradicating Narcotic Drugs and Formulating Effective New Tools to Address National Yearly Losses of Life (END FENTANYL) Act<\/em><\/a>, which Rosen helped introduce, would help end drug smuggling by requiring the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to regularly update its drug interdiction guidance. Currently, many CBP policies that outline drug interdiction practices are outdated and do not provide guidance on how to handle drugs such as fentanyl. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/05\/09\/on-fentanyl-awareness-day-rosen-co-sponsors-bipartisan-bill-to-strengthen-sanctions-against-fentanyl-traffickers\/\"><em>Fentanyl Eradication and Narcotics Deterrence (FEND) Off Fentanyl Act<\/em><\/a>, which Rosen co-sponsored would require the President to sanction drug rings involved in international drug trafficking, including suppliers in China and cartels from Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cStopping the flow of deadly fentanyl into Nevada starts by strengthening the resources that law enforcement has to prevent drugs at our border and by targeting international traffickers and criminal networks,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019m glad to see that these bipartisan bills I\u2019ve supported to prevent fentanyl from coming into the United States have passed the Senate and are one step closer to becoming law.
