On Day Four of Statewide Virtual Outreach, Rosen Tours Walker River State Recreation Area, Hawthorne Army Depot, Esmeralda School Restoration Project, Meets with Walker River Paiute Tribe

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, as part of her statewide virtual tour, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) participated in a series of events, including: a virtual tour of Walker River, Nevada’s newest State Park, a virtual tour of the Hawthorne Army Depot, a virtual tour of Goldfield High School’s restoration project in Esmeralda, and a meeting with the Walker River Paiute Tribe, including Chairman Amber Torres and Council.

“Nevada is home to many diverse and important industries and communities,” dijo el Senador Rosen. “During this leg of the tour I had the chance to see the pristine beauty of our newest state park, see our state’s military depot first-hand, receive an update on the progress of a historic school’s restoration, and speak with the leaders of one of our state’s tribes on the resources they need during this challenging time. This tour has given me the chance to once again see the diversity that allows our state to flourish. This tour is an opportunity for me to hear how I can best support Nevada in all areas.”
