Rosen Votes to Confirm Julie Su as Deputy Secretary of Labor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP), and an associate member of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), released the following statement after voting to confirm Julie Su to serve as the Deputy Secretary of the U.S Department of Labor (DOL):

“Today, I proudly voted to confirm Julie Su as our nation’s next Deputy Secretary of Labor,” said Senator Rosen. “As our country recovers and builds back from the challenges of COVID-19, we must make bold investments in our workforce and support workers in Nevada and across our country. Deputy Secretary Su will be a strong advocate for achieving these goals. She built a successful career fighting for working families and union members, especially vulnerable workers who have been exploited or forced to work in unsafe conditions. I am confident that she will bring that same tenacity and compassion to the Biden Administration. I look forward to working alongside her as we help to increase economic growth, create jobs, and protect Nevada workers.”
