Rosen vota para admitir a Suecia y Finlandia en la OTAN

Senator Rosen Is A Member Of The Bipartisan Senate NATO Observer Group

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the bipartisan Senate NATO Observer Group, voted in favor of admitting Sweden and Finland into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

“NATO is one of the most successful alliances in history and has been the bedrock of peace and security in Europe for over half a century,” dijo el Senador Rosen. “Sweden and Finland will enhance NATO’s defense capabilities and posture, and I was proud to vote in favor of their NATO membership bids.”

Senator Rosen has been a strong supporter of Sweden and Finland’s NATO membership bids. Just last week, she met with Finland’s Ambassador to the United States to discuss Finland joining NATO and the importance of combating Russian aggression in Europe and around the world. In May, Rosen joined her Senate colleagues in urging President Biden to expedite the process to advance Sweden and Finland’s applications for NATO membership.
