Rosen Holds Latino Roundtable, Discusses Legislative Action Impacting Nevada’s Latino Community

LAS VEGAS, NV — Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) hosted a roundtable discussion at the Latin Chamber of Commerce with members of the southern Nevada Latino community to discuss key legislation across a range of issue areas, as well as an update from Washington, and the Senator’s legislative actions that impact Latinos across Nevada.

“Nevada’s Latino community is part of the rich and diverse fabric of our state. I’m grateful for this chance to sit down and discuss the issues affecting Nevadans  and the work I’m doing in Congress to help,” said Senator Rosen. “I met with education, health care, immigration, and environmental community leaders who are working tirelessly to improve Nevada. I look forward to a continued dialogue with Nevada’s Latino community in order to best represent all Nevadans.”

“We need people in office who will stand up for all Nevadans, no matter what,” said Nora Luna, Director of Diversity and Grants of Nathan Adelson Hospice. “Senator Rosen understands that need, and has worked to protect Nevada’s many Latino communities.”
