Rosen Highlights 2020 Constituent Outreach Actions

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), released the following statement highlighting constituent actions her office has taken in 2020, including assisting over 2,600 constituents with cases dealing with federally related issues, returning over one million dollars to Nevada constituents, attending over 2,000 in-person and virtual meetings and calls, and responding to over 150,000 constituent calls, emails, and letters.

“It is an honor to represent the people of our great state,” said Senator Rosen. “In 2020, we have faced numerous challenges, both in our state and across the country. Nevadans continue to amaze me with their incredible resilience, and, as this year comes to a close, I will continue fighting for the people of my state today and every day. Over the past year, my office has been hard at work to see that critical aid reaches our state. Know that my office will always be here for any Nevadan in need.”

BACKGROUND: Over the past year, Senator Rosen’s office has:

  • Assisted in over 2,600 constituent cases dealing with federally related issues, with over $1.2 million returned to Nevadans
  • Returned over $250,000 to the U.S. Treasury from her Senate office budget
  • Attended over 2,000 in-person and virtual meetings and calls
  • Responded to over 150,000 constituent calls, emails, and letters
