Ahead of Armed Forces Day, Rosen Releases Statement Honoring Servicemembers

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), released the following statement commemorating Armed Forces Day, a holiday held during the third Saturday of May, honoring current U.S. servicemembers:

“Armed Forces Day is an opportunity to thank our military servicemembers who keep our nation safe,” said Senator Rosen. “In addition to their regular duties, our military members have been critical to keeping our nation running this past year. During the pandemic, U.S. servicemembers from Nevada and across the country have risen to the occasion and been actively involved in vaccine distribution, assisting in community testing, and helping keep our nation’s capitol safe. Not just today, but every day, let us honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces for always putting our country’s safety, security, and health first.”
