Rosen Visits Vaccine Pop-Up Clinic, Encourages Nevadans to Get Vaccinated

LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) visited a COVID-19 vaccine clinic hosted by For Our Future and Mi Familia Vota. During the event, Senator Rosen spoke about the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine to Nevada’s full economic recovery.

“COVID-19 has been an unprecedented test of our state’s resilience. Over the last year and a half, Nevadans have faced monumental challenges to our health and our livelihoods. We’ve worked hard to overcome those obstacles and are on our way to recovery,” said Senator Rosen. “Vaccines are the key to a successful recovery, and the only way we can fully put COVID behind us. I am grateful for the work For Our Future and Mi Familia Vota are doing to encourage and educate individuals who have yet to get vaccinated. Vaccines are free, they are safe, and they are the most important thing that we can do to help Nevada and our nation recover.”

BACKGROUND: The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 provided funding that has helped ensure COVID-19 vaccines are free to everyone in America. In March, Senator Rosen voted to pass the American Rescue Plan Act, which was signed into law by President Biden that same month.
