Rosen Statement Observing Nevada Day

CARSON CITY, NV – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement in celebration of Nevada Day (observed), commemorating the observed anniversary of the state’s admission to the United States on October 31, 1864.

“As we commemorate the 157th anniversary of our admission into the union, we join together this weekend to recognize Nevada’s unique history and all those who are fortunate enough to call our state home,” said Senator Rosen. “From Elko to Carson City to Las Vegas, our state’s awe-inspiring natural beauty and rich cultural diversity deserves to be celebrated.
