Rosen Commemorates Veterans Day, Highlights Veterans Resource Guide

LAS VEGAS, NV – U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement commemorating Veterans Day to honor the men and women who have served our nation. Senator Rosen’s office provides a comprehensive Veterans Resource Guide which includes important information on resources and benefits at the federal, state, and local levels to assist Nevada’s veterans, those transitioning from military service, and their families.

“We are forever indebted to veterans across this country who have protected our freedoms and security for generations,” said Senator Rosen. “Nevada is the proud home of nearly 250,000 veterans, and it is a privilege to fight for each and every one of these heroes in the U.S. Senate every day. This Veterans Day, we honor the brave men and women who have placed their lives on the line to protect our nation and reaffirm our strong commitment to supporting them and their families in every way we can.”

Senator Rosen is committed to fighting for our nation’s veterans and ensuring they have access to the care they deserve. Earlier this year, Senator Rosen helped pass the Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act, which was signed into law, and will extend Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and health care to all veterans suffering from illnesses as a result of exposure to burn pits and other toxins during their service.  She has also introduced numerous bipartisan bills to support Nevada’s veterans, including legislation to invest in veterans’ mental health and suicide prevention efforts, help veterans start small businesses in underserved communities, and establish and improve Student Veteran Centers at colleges and universities.
