WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement following the announcement that an agreement has been reached to stop Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel.
“For more than a year, Israel has faced non-stop attacks from Hezbollah – a terrorist organization backed by Iran – which have killed innocent civilians, put countless lives at risk, and displaced tens of thousands from their homes in northern Israel,” said Senator Rosen. “I applaud the Biden Administration for helping to negotiate an agreement to stop Hezbollah’s attacks and allow Israel to fully focus on defeating Hamas. This deal makes it clear that Hamas is isolated and must release all the remaining hostages and end its acts of terror immediately. ”
