WASHINGTON, DC – Last night, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen joined MS NOW’s “The Weeknight” to call for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s resignation after reports that he gave a directive to “kill everybody” on boats in the Caribbean, leading to a second strike that killed survivors who were incapacitated, which may legally be considered murder or a war crime.

Senator Rosen soundbite from the interview:

“Pete Hegseth, [allegedly saying] ‘kill them all,’ if he said that, that is clearly murder. Or, if we’re at war, it’s illegal. And if we’re not at war, then it’s murder. And he needs to resign. If they strike Venezuela, we know we’re ready to put a War Powers resolution together in a bipartisan way to stop them. And we’re going to find every tool in the toolbox to stop this administration from going rogue and starting World War III.”
