Rosen Votes Against Confirming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement after voting against the confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

“At a time when Republicans are looking to cut Medicaid to pay for their tax cuts for billionaires, I have no confidence Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is going to stand up to protect this critical program, ” said Senator Rosen. “His dangerous conspiracy theories and reckless statements are also a danger to public health, and make him unfit to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. For these reasons, I voted against his confirmation.”
