Last summer, Trump and Washington Republicans cut Medicaid and SNAP so they could hire untrained individuals to work for ICE as part of their “Big Beautiful Bill.”
Now, ICE is out of control and endangering U.S. citizens & law-abiding immigrants.
I won’t support additional funding for ICE or CBP until we put guardrails in place to rein in ICE’s behavior and increase accountability. We also need to reverse cuts to Medicaid and SNAP made to pay for the ICE slush fund.

Big news: thanks to a law I helped pass, Medicare will negotiate lower prices for 15 new prescription drugs. ⬇️
That’s in addition to 25 medications that have already been negotiated to help lower prices for our seniors on Medicare Part D.
This means real savings and financial relief.
