Rosen Addresses Nevada AFL-CIO Virtual Convention

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, addressed the Nevada AFL-CIO Virtual Convention. During her remarks, Senator Rosen spoke on the need to support Nevada workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and into the future.

“In Nevada, our workforce has been hit hard by the pandemic and our state’s workers are our economic engine. They help our local businesses not only grow but thrive,” said Senator Rosen. “Nevada’s workers are also the driving force behind the rebuilding of our state’s economy. I’ll be right by your side fighting for a safe workplace, higher wages, paid family leave, equal pay for equal work, and making sure that all workers are treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve.”
