WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) applauded $30.5 million in funding Nevada will receive to support public transit. This funding comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that she helped write and pass. Senator Rosen was part of the bipartisan group of 22 senators that negotiated and drafted the final infrastructure package.

“Access to safe and reliable public transit is critical to so many families and workers across Nevada,” said Senator Rosen. “This funding will go directly to updating and modernizing our transit systems, create good-paying jobs, and a clean energy future in the process. I was proud to secure this funding to strengthen our public transit system, speeding up commute times and improving quality of life for hardworking families.”
