WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement announcing her original co-sponsorship of a resolution to commemorate Native American Heritage Month, celebrated each November, as well as recognize the vibrant culture and traditions of Native Americans and their contributions to the history of the United States.

“Native American History Month is an opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural history of Nevada’s tribal communities,” said Senator Rosen. “We must protect and strengthen our native communities by including their voices in comprehensive policy solutions that recognize this history and ensure Tribal communities thrive in the years to come.”
