WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and James Lankford (R-OK) released a video statement condemning anti-Semitism and promoting the goals of their Bipartisan Taskforce for Combating Anti-Semitism.
“Over the years, we’ve seen members of our nation’s Jewish and our most vulnerable communities experience violence and tragedy. Anti-Semitism is alive around the world and in our own communities” said Senator Rosen. “That’s why we launched the Senate’s first-ever Bipartisan Taskforce for Combating Anti-Semitism. ”
“The mission of the task force will be to collaborate with law enforcement, the White House, federal agencies, state and local government, educators, advocates, clergy, and any other stakeholders to combat anti-Semitism by educating and empowering our communities.” said Senator Lankford.
BACKGROUND: Last month, Senators Rosen and Lankford launched the Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Anti-Semitism.
