Rosen Tours Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall Expansion

LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Chair of the Subcommittee on Tourism, Trade, and Export Promotion, toured the Las Vegas Convention Center’s new West Hall expansion, which is a state of the art 1.4 million square foot addition that will improve the center’s capability to host events.

“With the addition of the West Hall, the Las Vegas Convention Center is now one of the largest convention centers in the country,” said Senator Rosen. “This state-of-the-art hall added to the Las Vegas Convention Center continues to build upon and cement Nevada’s legacy as the tourism capital of the world. This development will help expand the opportunities available to those who come to our city, bringing new visitors and business. I am proud of the continued innovation and growth at the Convention Center, furthering our city’s accessibility to Nevadans and those who visit the Silver State.”

BACKGROUND: The Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)’s new West Hall includes the Lobby Spectacular screen, the largest digital experience in the U.S. convention and exhibits industry, 600,000 square feet of technologically advanced exhibit space, 328,000 square feet of column-free space, and a 14,000-square-foot outdoor terrace. In addition to the exhibition space, the new area features 150,000 square feet of meeting room space, with the ability to create 80 breakout rooms.
