WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement after voting to confirm the nomination of Denis McDonough to serve as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA):

“Today, I voted to confirm Denis McDonough to serve as the Secretary of Veterans Affairs,” said Senator Rosen. “I’m confident that Secretary McDonough will successfully lead the VA putting the needs of our men and women in uniform, our veterans, including the over 225,000 veterans who live in Nevada, and their families first. I look forward to working with Secretary McDonough to ensure that our veterans get the resources and support that they need.”
