Rosen, Cortez Masto Applaud USDA Grant Awarded to Native American Water Association

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV), and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) released the following statement applauding the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for awarding the Native American Water Association a grant totaling $240,400 to be used to develop water and waste solutions.

“It is critical that all of our communities, including Nevada’s many tribes, have access to clean, potable water. We applaud the USDA for supporting this vital, commonsense program,” said the Senators. “This investment in tribal water utilities will benefit Nevada’s tribal communities by creating a structure for water and waste removal and improve the operation and maintenance of facilities. We will continue to advocate for funding that keeps our water clean and waste free.”
