WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) released the following statement applauding news of a U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development grant totaling $95,212 awarded to the Rural Nevada Development Corporation in Ely.
“Nevada’s small business community is the driving force behind our state’s economy,” said the Senators. “This grant will be used to support rural microentrepreneurs and microenterprises, as well as make it easier for those entrepreneurs and businesses to receive a microloan. We will continue to be advocates for Nevada’s small business community and continue to support economic innovation and growth in our state.”
