Rosen Attends 7th Annual Springs Preserve Black History Month Festival

LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) attended the 7th Annual Springs Preserve Black History Month Festival, held each February, to celebrate the many contributions of African Americans to Nevada’s community and history.

“This event is a time to celebrate and honor black history and culture in Nevada,” said Senator Rosen. “As we celebrate this event, we must also take time to look back upon the struggles that many faced in the pursuit of civil rights and equal treatment under the law. We must strive to overcome the obstacles of our past by continuing the fight against injustice and inequality, and ensuring that our democracy is accessible to every American.”
