Rosen Receives U.S. Chamber of Commerce Lincoln Leadership Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, was awarded the United States Chamber of Commerce’s annual Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America Award. The award recognizes members of Congress from both sides of the aisle who demonstrate the bipartisan leadership and constructive governing necessary to move our country forward, based on their support of pro-growth legislation important to the business community.

“I was elected by the people of Nevada to deliver real results, and I am honored to receive this award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in recognition of my efforts,” said Senator Rosen. “As President Lincoln once famously said, ‘A house divided against itself cannot stand.’ Now more than ever, we must come together to pursue bold solutions to the historic challenges our communities and our nation face. We owe it to our nation to not only stand firm in our beliefs and values, but also to do the hard work of looking past partisanship and political differences in order to help better Americans’ lives. I pledge to spend each and every day fighting for the people of Nevada and working to achieve progress for my state and for our country.”

BACKGROUND: In 2018, then-Congresswoman Rosen was one of a small group of Democrats to receive the U.S. Chamber’s Spirit of Enterprise Award for her support for pro-growth policies in the first session of the 115th Congress. Rosen was one of only 13 Democrats in Congress to receive the award that year.
