Honored to be able to personally thank our veterans at the 2026 Women Veterans Conference for their bravery and selflessness serving our country. These women stepped forward, often at times of great uncertainty, to defend the freedoms we all enjoy. Nevada and our nation are stronger because of our women veterans, and I will keep working across party lines to support them.

I am heartbroken to hear about the loss of six U.S. servicemembers who died in Iraq. Thirteen American servicemembers have died in this conflict and up to 140 have been injured, and I am keeping their families in my heart. I pray there won’t be any more American casualties.
