My Democratic colleagues and I tried for weeks to pass funding for TSA and other critical parts of the Dept. of Homeland Security. Senate Republicans finally came to their senses last week and agreed to a bipartisan bill to get it done – only for House Republicans to refuse to bring it up for a vote.
Washington Republicans need to get it together and end their shutdown of this critical department.
