Gutting this research funding doesn’t make anyone’s life better.Federal funding cuts have led to the termination of 25 grants totaling $16.3 million at UNLV, halting efforts to increase mental health access in rural areas, improve care for Alzheimer’s patients and monitor youth substance abuse.
