The FIFA World Cup starts this week, and the U.S. will welcome over a million international visitors to watch the games, stay in our hotels, eat in our restaurants, and see all that our country has to offer. Over the next ten years, we'll host international events like the Summer and Winter Olympics and have even more opportunities to showcase American tourism.

But the Trump Admin is forcing travelers and non-immigrant visa applicants to disclose years of their social media history, making the process for tourists much more difficult and discouraging some potential visitors from coming at all. That means our tourism economy gets hurt at a time when it could most use a boost.

I'm urging Secretary Rubio and Secretary Markwayne Mullin to revoke this ridiculous policy now.
