Jews are beginning to prepare for the holiest time of the year, coming together for prayer, reflection, and the start of the Jewish New Year in synagogues around the world. But as we see record levels of antisemitism across the United States, Jewish institutions are having to spend more on security measures to keep communities safe.
This is why we must pass the Jewish American Security Act, my bipartisan bill that will make a historic investment in the Nonprofit Security Grant Program to provide the funding necessary to protect places of worship from violent attacks.
