In Alamo NV, Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge serves a special purpose – it’s an essential stopover location for waterfowl and songbirds as they migrate south in the fall and back north in the early spring!
During my most recent visit to the refuge, I heard directly from Fish and Wildlife staff about their work to conserve unique habitats like Pahranagat for all wildlife.

Canada is one of Nevada’s top trading partners, and the only thing that Donald Trump’s reckless attack on our neighbor to the north has accomplished is further devastation of Nevada’s economy with higher prices on everyday essentials and a decline in tourism.
Since Trump began his wholly unnecessary trade war with Canada, Nevada has seen a decline in Canadian tourists, and now their retaliatory tariffs will hurt Nevada exporters and small businesses. None of this would’ve happened had it not been for Trump’s ill-conceived trade war, which is why he needs to put an end to it and mend relationships with Canada so we can get Nevada’s economy back on track.
