Trump and Washington Republicans tripled ICE’s annual budget in their “One Big Beautiful Bill” – and paid for it by making the biggest cut to Medicaid in history.
Now, instead of focusing on apprehending criminals and keeping the country safe, ICE is using that money to ramp up often violent and unconstitutional tactics that infringe upon Americans’ rights.
Americans are losing their health care so Trump can escalate his mass deportation agenda. Not on my watch. We need to reverse the Medicaid cuts and pass Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and my bill to redirect the excess funds for ICE to local law enforcement.

ICE is out of control and two Americans are dead as a result. I won’t support additional funding for ICE until we put guardrails in place to rein in their un-American conduct that’s endangering U.S. citizens and law-abiding immigrants.
