For years, Congress has supported programs that bring Israelis and Palestinians together to advance dialogue and build trust and cooperation in the region. Many of these programs have been cut or terminated altogether under the Trump Administration, so I asked Ambassador Blome, Trump’s nominee to lead Near Eastern Affairs at the State Department, if he would commit to keeping these programs running.
