As long as I’m in the Senate, I’ll never allow Yucca Mountain to become the nation’s nuclear waste dumping ground. My Jobs, Not Waste Act would repeal the federal law that names Yucca Mountain as the nation’s only nuclear waste repository and require the U.S. government to consider other uses for this site that would create jobs and stimulate Nevada’s economy.
