Every domestic violence survivor deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered to rebuild their life. Last week, I met with directors of S.A.F.E. House in Henderson, a nonprofit providing emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, housing assistance, and outreach and education for survivors of domestic violence and other vulnerable individuals.
I had the opportunity to walk through their shelter – which is in a confidential location to protect survivors and staff – and was impressed by the team’s commitment to providing a clean, safe refuge for women in need. I’m grateful to SAFE House NV for their work to support survivors with the resources they need.

🚨 Big news – at midnight, the most significant housing bill to lower housing costs and increase the housing supply in over 30 years became law.
Both chambers of Congress and both parties worked together to get this done – without Donald Trump, after he repeatedly refused to sign this historic, bipartisan bill. This is a great first step toward finally addressing the housing crisis in Nevada and across the country, and I was glad to help get the bill over the finish line.
