Happy Independence Day, Nevada! 250 years ago, our Founding Fathers bravely risked their lives in making a bold proposition at the time: that the 13 American colonies were free and independent from Great Britain.
From our very beginning, the United States was a nation of immigrants and refugees – families who fled oppression and persecution and found safe harbor on our shores.
I continue to believe we are the best nation on Earth, and I’ll keep fighting for the ideals that inspired our founding: freedom, democracy, and rule of law. I’m so proud to celebrate 250 years of our history today! 🇺🇸

My next stop on the Nevada Craft Beverage Passport Tour was Boulder Dam Brewing Co., an incredible small business right here in Boulder City.
Enjoyed some beer and bratwurst with good company – and watched Team USA beat Bosnia and Herzegovina!
