Trump and Washington Republicans refused to extend the Affordable Care Act’s enhanced premium tax credits. Now that they’ve expired, many Americans are paying much higher premiums and delaying doctor’s visits – if they can afford health insurance at all.

I’ll keep fighting to make sure every Nevadan can afford to see a doctor and get the medication they need.The share of Affordable Care Act insurance customers in plans that cost more than $6,000 a year doubled, a sign of the squeeze on household budgets after Congress let Covid-era assistance expire.
