WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, announced that Eileen Entertainment, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, has been chosen for her April Small Business Spotlight, a monthly initiative to highlight Nevada small businesses.

“Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, so what better business to highlight for my April Small Business Spotlight than Eileen Entertainment,” said Senator Rosen. “This Hispanic-owned Nevada small business specializes in event planning and provides beautiful flower bouquets and balloon arrangements for special occasions. As we work to overcome this pandemic, and re-open our state, there will be numerous reasons to celebrate, and Eileen Entertainment will be there.”

“At Eileen Entertainment, we strive to help create beauty in our communities through our unique and creative flower arrangements,” said Savannah Eileen Gomez, Owner of Eileen Entertainment. “Whether it's for a wedding or a birthday, we hope our arrangements contribute to the celebration that comes with living in Nevada. We are grateful for all of the work Senator Rosen is doing for small businesses like ours. As we all work to get through this pandemic, we are glad to have an ally in Congress who will advocate on our behalf.”

BACKGROUND: In November, Senator Rosen announced that her office would be launching a Small Business Spotlight initiative to regularly highlight Nevada small businesses in order to help lift them up during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nevadans can nominate small businesses to be highlighted here.

Senator Rosen’s office is working every day to ensure Nevadans stay up to date on the latest news on the coronavirus, as well as provide a list of resources to assist Nevadans.

Senator Rosen’s website includes a bilingual online resource portal to assist small businesses in Nevada affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Small businesses that are experiencing difficulties navigating federal assistance can also send their inquiries and questions to SmallBusiness@Rosen.Senate.gov, and a team of dedicated bilingual professionals will respond to provide assistance.
