LAS VEGAS, NV – U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, participated in a video conference with members of the Nevada REALTORS and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Nevada District Director Joe Amato to provide an update on the federal government’s COVID-19 response, discuss her actions to support Nevada’s economy, and answer questions from Nevada REALTORS members.
“COVID-19 has negatively impacted industries all across our state, including Nevada’s housing market,” said Senator Rosen. “I’m grateful for this opportunity to speak with representatives of our state’s real estate industry in order to discuss the work Congress is doing to provide economic relief, as well as to discuss the work I’m doing with our state and local governments. I will continue working to assist and provide economic relief to Nevada.”
BACKGROUND: Senator Rosen has previously partnered with Nevada’s Small Business Administration regional representatives and local Chambers of Commerce, including the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce, the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce, and the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce to provide updates on the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 crisis and answer questions on access to federal resources.
Senator Rosen was recently appointed to serve on the President’s bipartisan Opening Up America Again Congressional Group.
