WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined a bipartisan group of her colleagues in a press conference where she discussed their recent bipartisan delegation visit to Poland and Germany to see firsthand the American and NATO response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“The trip underscored for me the actions we can and we should be taking to be sure the Ukrainian people have every bit of support they need – humanitarian aid, military aid, the training, and the resources that they need to defeat Vladimir Putin, to defeat Russia’s brutal and inhumane invasion of a sovereign and democratic country,” said Senator Rosen. “We can accept nothing less.”

As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senator Rosen has been a leader in opposing Russia’s violent and unprovoked aggression in Ukraine. Last week, as chair of the Senate Commerce Subcommittee overseeing trade, Senator Rosen called for suspending all American trade with Russia and sanctioning the Moscow Stock Exchange. Senator Rosen also co-sponsored bipartisan legislation to ban all Russian energy imports to the United States and spoke on the Senate floor in favor of providing Ukraine with fighter jets and imposing trade sanctions on Russia.
